Sarah Merrill, MD

Dr. Merrill joined Virginia Eye Center in 2007. She is a board certified ophthalmologist with a primary focus in traditional and laser cataract surgery, including advanced intraocular lens implants. In addition, she regularly performs micro invasive glaucoma surgery to help those with glaucoma. She is one of the first surgeons to perform laser cataract surgery in Loudoun County. Dr. Merrill regularly volunteers on mission trips performing cataract surgery to those in need in Honduras and Kenya. She serves on the boards of Loudoun Ambulatory Surgery Center and Northern Virginia Academy of Ophthalmology. She has been named one of Washingtonian Magazine’s Top Doctors.
